Assalāmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullāhi Wabarakath,
Day before yesterday, I made chocolate brownies for my niece and nephew. And I feel like sharing my beautiful brownies with the World, because they turned out pretty well. They would've been better, but I ran out of walnuts to add.
I've always enjoyed Cooking/Baking, but my skills aren't so good and my experience is limited. InshaAllah over the summer I'm going to experiment and see how far I get. In fact, when I was a kid, I used to watch these T.V shows, where the Women would make spectacular dishes, and then I would go into our kitchen, close the door and pretend I was on Television making my own dish. I would be fascinated at how she'd put all the ingredients in separate bowls and then add all of them together, and voila! Amazing delicious food, lol.
But, also considering how half of my household is trying to eat healthier this summer, I think I need to stop tempting everyone [Including myself ;)].

thats sooo funny, because i stink at cooking too, and wish i was this awesome chef. also i used to watch cooking shows all the time and then go into the kitchen and whip up PB&J and pretend I was this all star chef on my own show LOL! inshaAllah we will both be able to improve our culinary skills!
Thanks ladies. lol, Umm Yusuf, I would do the same thing, ahaha. Oh well, InshaAllah this summer should prove to be beneficial, and by Ramadan at least I'll be a tad bit better. ;)

I made brownies last night but I had to use oil from the deep-fryer and guess what.. u could taste frenchfries in my brownies O_O LoL!
But my husband really wanted chocolate brownies, and at least he didn't taste the fries too much ;-)
