Assalāmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullāhi Wabarakath,

Day before yesterday, I made chocolate brownies for my niece and nephew. And I feel like sharing my beautiful brownies with the World, because they turned out pretty well. They would've been better, but I ran out of walnuts to add.

I've always enjoyed Cooking/Baking, but my skills aren't so good and my experience is limited. InshaAllah over the summer I'm going to experiment and see how far I get. In fact, when I was a kid, I used to watch these T.V shows, where the Women would make spectacular dishes, and then I would go into our kitchen, close the door and pretend I was on Television making my own dish. I would be fascinated at how she'd put all the ingredients in separate bowls and then add all of them together, and voila! Amazing delicious food, lol.

But, also considering how half of my household is trying to eat healthier this summer, I think I need to stop tempting everyone [Including myself ;)].

Thanks ladies. lol, Umm Yusuf, I would do the same thing, ahaha. Oh well, InshaAllah this summer should prove to be beneficial, and by Ramadan at least I'll be a tad bit better. ;)

Asalaam `alaikum ya u5ti :-)

I made brownies last night but I had to use oil from the deep-fryer and guess what.. u could taste frenchfries in my brownies O_O LoL!

But my husband really wanted chocolate brownies, and at least he didn't taste the fries too much ;-)

commenting here after quite a while. I like your header pic. Did you take it yourself. Sorry for being random.

Wa Alaykumsalam,

Aalia: I wish there was a substitue for the fattening greasy oil. Sigh. Anyway, practice makes perfect. :p

Abu Hind: No problem. :) Err no, I didn't take it myself, but I think it's totally cool. Which reminds me I need to add a link to the original picture somewhere on the site because it isn't mind. :(

btw, what happened to your blog[s]?

Salaam again.

Yeh well I really like it.

Ahh my blog(s). Well I thought they (I?) kind of lost focus. Anyway I've made a new one with a much more specific purpose. Check it out :P
