It hurts. When you see somebody you love and fear for them for their akhira because they are commiting a sin, and when you even tell them gently, they ignore it, becoming defensive and arguing. But that's not what really hurts, what hurts is when they forget their boundaries and sin and take a small step away from Islam for the Dunya and all you can do is stand their crying in your heart, because you know the punishment and you don't want them to suffer in the akhira. And all you can do is make dua in your heart for them, to make them better muslims and that their imaan increases.

Why not tell them the truth and correct them?

May Allah guide and forgive us all. Ameen

Assalaamu Alaikum :)

Oh wow, I've had similar thoughts. And as for Mr GQ's suggestion, it isn't as easy unfortunately. But who knows, it all depends on the individual, they may react differently than you had expected, insha'Allah in a positive way.

I know how you feel, it happens to me all the time. I see young sisters outside without hijab, and they're really pretty, and I think how much more beautiful they would look if they only practiced a little more modesty...Ensha Allah they will change soon...

I guess you are right squeeky.

I personally am a bad person at giving dawah. I get frustrated real quickly and lose patience.

At times I tend to lose my anger when people dont seem to change.

Thats my weakness.

May Allah guide me. Ameen
May Allah reward you and all the Muslims. Ameen
