Assalam Alaykum Warahmutallahi wabarakath

Having listened to the lectures of Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki concerning World Events, i was touched. I think everyone should hear what he has to say, May Allah s.w.t bless him for spreading knowledge. May Allah s.w.t protect him. Ameen.

Allah S.W.T is preparing us for Victory.

Part 1- http://www.salaattime.com/downloads/anwar/Lectures/Allah%20is%20preparing%20us%20for%20victory%20-%20Part%2001.mp3

Part 2- http://www.salaattime.com/downloads/anwar/Lectures/Allah%20is%20preparing%20us%20for%20victory%20-%20Part%2002.mp3

Inshallah, if you have time, you should listen to it.

Khair, besides that, Alhamdulilah i have been good.

Just lately i was speaking to a Sister about Allah s.w.t and his blessings. And i said to her, Alhamdulilah we are blessed. Blessed for being Muslim, blessed for being among the Ummah of Rasoolalah Sallahu alayhi wassallam, But most of all blessed for being shown the light of Islam in such times of fitna, when - at times your own families become against you if you become 'too' Islamic, or practicing. Alhamdulilah.

Personally, after i started practicing, i myself received criticism by friends, family [at times], family friends, people who don't know me, etc. But alhamdulilah, majority of the time my immediate family has supported me in most of the things, and again that is a blessing of Allah s.w.t because i know some Sisters and Brothers who have gone through a much much worser time after they started practicing. Inshallah more ajr is in store for them as they deserve it.

We are living in a time where being a practicing Muslim is hard. Made harder now a days at times by your own family and friends but Inshallah we will pass the tests Allah s.w.t puts us through. All the Muslims have gone through a difficult time through History, but in the end, Allah s.w.t gave them reward. Be patient.

If we look around us, the Muslims Ummah is being massacred, torn apart. It truly has become a game of ''Us and Them''. If you support the Mujahideen you are termed an 'extremist'. If you wear Hijab, cover yourself, again you are 'going too extreme'. Some Parents' feel their daughters won't get married if they wear Hijab/Niqaab, they forget the commands of Allah s.w.t and are more concerned with the Dunya.

If you expose, if you wear short skirts and sleeveless, if you party and go clubbing, if you have a big social life, you are the 'in-crowd', the 'happening' people, and Subhanallah, some Parents are happy with how their Children are.

Mashallah to all the Muslim Women who wear Hijab and Niqaab, especially in such times. I know some who have gone through a great ordeal and fight to remain wearing it. Remember, you are following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.S and the commands of Allah s.w.t.

You are following what the Mothers of the Believers, the Wives of the Prophet Muhammad Sallahu alayhi wasallam used to do. But most importantly, you are following the command that is written for all Muslim Women. A command which is fardh and clear.

The same goes to all the Brothers' who try to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.S. It has especially become hard for a lot of Brothers who have beards or 'look' Muslims in a lot of things, but remember, you will get your reward Inshallah.

I myself have been called extreme at a point or 'too' Muslim about some things which i do. [Which sounds stupid...]. When infact i have a long way to go before i become anyway near a good Muslim. Especially by people who don't really know me, but Alhamdulilah in my heart i am happy with the way i am. If following the Sunnah, if supporting Jihad and the true Mujahideen, if wearing Hijab/Niqaab/Having a beard, if speaking out against what the enemies of Islam are doing makes you the odd one out, it doesn't bother me. It doesn't matter to me personally what people have to say, because alhamdulilah i don't get touched by it. The Power of Allah s.w.t is more stronger.

People forget one day, we will have to stand before our Lord and answer for our actions and we will be punished for our Sins. The fire of Hell is so much more hotter, more painful then the fire of this world. And how much do we hurt when we are burned by accident? We feel the pain of it through out our whole body. What will happen to us then?

This life is but a test for us.

The Quran says:

"...أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُاْ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالآَخِرَةِ فَلاَ يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلاَ هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ"

"...Those are they who have bought the life of this world at the price of the Hereafter. Their torment shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped..." 2:86

If you look at the World, the Muslim Nations get attacked and none of the other Muslim governments do anything. No, they'r too scared, too involved with this Dunya. They fear loosing their wealth and Money. Wealth- which will be of no benefit in the Akhira. What's more, they even critisice the true Mujahideen and the people who stand up.

Surah Number: 102, Ayah Number: 5

"...Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have occupied yourselves in worldly things) ..."

I know i've gone in different directions, and i could go on and on and comment on each topic seperately but these were thoughts which were crowding my head.

May Allah s.w.t protect the true Mujahideen, the one's who fight with their Pen, their Sword and their Minds and wealth.

May Allah s.w.t protect all our Brothers' and Sisters' in Islam, who suffer in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Lebanon and in Prisons and other places.

May Allah s.w.t unite the Ummah under one banner.

May Allah s.w.t give us patience and strength.

May Allah s.w.t forgive us our sins.

May Allah s.w.t give us victory over the enemies of Islam who wage war against us.

May Allah s.w.t give us leader who has Iman and faith in Allah s.w.t.

May Allah s.w.t protect our Brothers' and Sisters' who revive the Sunnah and carry the banner of Islam, may he give them reward for their deeds.

May Allah s.w.t guide the misguided among the Ummah who are on the wrong path, and bring them back to the pureness of Islam.

May Allah s.w.t forgive me for all the sins i may or may have not done, May Allah s.w.t keep me and you on the straight path always. Ameen.

Ameen to all the duas.

H - you write very well. I really enjoyed reading your blog entry. You are right its hard to be a practicing muslim nowadays, even harder if you are in USA. Everyday is like jihad.

Some mulims have taken the opportunity and are exploiting innocent mulsims by brainwashing them politically. Its wise to be prudent and step back and not get involved in those kind of things. I know you are not.

Keep writing, its a pleasure to feel the emotional depth behind your writing. Love always. R.

Mashallah Sis, I was in tears while reading this touching post! I wish that each Muslim and Muslimah would embark on a personal mission to better him or her self, and in so doing, ensha Allah, we will become a better Ummah collectively!!!

Salaam again, Sis,
Where can I get the url or code for that banner for cage prisoners that you have at the top of your blog? I'd like to help spread it around; if that's OK with you.

Unscriptedunedited - whether you like it or not there are some bad seeds. It may or may not be your liking, that does not mean you discount it all together. US Media, well thats another can of worms altogether isn't it.

Assalamualaikum...

Ruma...there are bad seeds anywhere and everywhere you go. but you wrote: "Its wise to be prudent and step back and not get involved in those kind of things."

what are those things? like standing up for other muslims in other parts of the world? or speaking out?

you wrote:

"Some mulims have taken the opportunity and are exploiting innocent mulsims by brainwashing them politically."

by writing that, you're asserting that, this is something that happened to this blog and its author. and then you say in a condescending manner, that you know she's not. you're wrong in insinuating that she is, or even to bring it up.

alhamdulillah it was an excellent post. truth is power. and so is knowledge.

insh'Allah we are all rightly guided.

Assalam Alaykum,

Ameen to your dua's brotherhood.

Jazakallah khair Zingtrial, i've added you on my blog roll, your blog is pretty neat too.

Jazakallah khair Ruma. Thank-you. Yes, it is, but nothings impossible, they'r all just tests of our Imaan and how we go through them depends on us. May Allah s.w.t increase all of our imaan and give us all strength to be practicing Muslims.

Hmmm It depends on what political situations we're talking about. If it's the sort that promotes killing innocent people, Islam doesn't stand for that and nor do i or this blog Inshallah. But if it's the sort which promotes Jihad in the right [That's the hot-topics these days] way or calls for the betterment of the Ummah etc then yes, for that i do back up my brothers' and sisters', may it be Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, whereever. Again, It depends on what political situation we're talking about.

SSA- Awww, i know who you are and Jazakumallahu khairan for the duas and wishes. May Allah s.w.t bless you with his mercy and guidance. Ameen. Love you.

W'salam, Jazakalla khair unscriptedunedited. True, the U.S media is so biased, it's amazing. I agree with what you say, there are bad seeds everywhere, but the Muslim Ummah is attacked left and right, and the media picks on even the smallest thing and that's portrayed as what all Muslims do or believe in.

Ameen to your duas. Truth is defenitely power.

Salaam Hanna! Jazakallah khair. 'How'r you doing? Love reading your blog, it's interesting as always. Keep me in your duas. Lots of love from my way.

Walaykumasalam Hajar, *hugs* hope your doing good too Inshallah. Jazakallah khair for the comments. I guess it was all boiling inside of me and especially after hearing the Imams lecture, i couldn't help writing. Inshallah and Ameen to what you say about the Ummah. We need to be united.

If you click on the banner, you'll go to their site, and theres a place for it, i think around 'how you can support us' i'll give you the specifics later Inshallah, [i'm in a bit of a hurry right now]. Plus, ófcourse it's okay! It's not made by me, but the site itself, do spread it around, the voices of our brothers and sisters need to be heard.

Besmellah,

Brothers and sisters- in these times when the media shows us all as evil - we need to stand up and speak up for our rights and we belive in. In this hour we need to unite against the satan. Jihad against evil is what all of us should do. We should stand up and speak for the rights of innocent people.
Dear sister Veiled Muslimah I was really inspired by your words- and would like to suggest and invite you to join our family at Muslim Unity. You could send us your e-mail at unifiedsolutions@gmail.com so that we can invite you.
Inshallah we look forward to hearing from you.

Today our word should have more power than the word of a propoganda news channel run by certain evil forces. Let us spread peace and love between people and not hate as certain people want.

Unscripted you said - "by writing that, you're asserting that, this is something that happened to this blog and its author. and then you say in a condescending manner, that you know she's not. you're wrong in insinuating that she is, or even to bring it up."

Its not for you to decide. Its the blog's author's choice. There was no insinuation in my words and I detest your preconceived notions on that. I do not wish to engage in a hypothetical discussion as per your assumptions. Thanks anyways.
