Assalāmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullāhi Wabarakath,

Ten different phrases that are short, easy, and light, but will give you what no eye has seen, no hear has heard, and what no mind has imagined.

Enjoy (and implement):

1 -
"Whoever says: 'Glorified is Allah, the Most Great, and praised is He' [Subhan Allah al-'Adhim wa bi-Hamdih] will have a date palm planted for him in Paradise." ['Sahih al-Jami'' #5531]

2 - "Whoever is stricken with sadness, grief, sickness or hardship and says: 'Allah is my Lord, without any partners' [Allahu Rabbi, la sharika lah], then it will be removed from him." ['Sahih al-Jami'' #6040]

3 - "Whoever ate something, then said: ‘Praise be to Allah who has fed me this food and provided it for me, without any strength or power on my part’ [al-Hamdu lillah aladhi at'amani hadha wa Razaqnih bi ghayr hawlin minni wa la quwwa] is forgiven his past and future sins. And whoever wears a garment and says: ‘Praise be to Allah who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me without any strength or power on my part' [al-Hamdu lillah aladhi kasani hadha at-thawb wa Razaqnih bi ghayr hawlin minni wa la quwwa] is forgiven his past and future sins.” ['Sahih al-Jami'' #6086]

4 - "Whoever enters the marketplace and says: 'There is none worthy of worship except Allah who has no partners, for Him is the Dominion, and for Him is all Praise, He brings life and He causes death, and He is Alive and does not die, in His Hand is all good, and He is able to do all things,' [La ilaha ill-Allah, Wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-Mulk, wa lahul-Hamd, yuhyiyy wa yumit, wa Huwa Hayyun la yamut, bi Yadihil-Khayr wa Huwa 'ala kulli shay'in Qadir] then Allah will write one million good deeds for him, and will wipe away one million of his bad deeds, and will raise him one million levels and will build a home for him in Paradise." ['Sahih al-Jami'' #6231] [There is doubt about this narration, 'Imam Bukhari said it is hadeeth "Munkar" it is fabricated and even for those whom use weak hadeeth in fada2il al 2a3mal (virtue of deeds)wont be suffce for them as its even lesser than "very weak". Credit goes to Mass for pointing this out, Barakallah Feek]

5 - "Whoever controls his anger when he is able to act upon it, then Allah will call him to come in front of all of the Creation so that he would let him choose from the Hur al-'Ayn and marry from them whomever he pleases." ['Sahih al-Jami'' #6518]

6 - "Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times [Allahumma inni as'aluk al-Jannah], then Paradise will say: "O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!" And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times [Allahumma najjini min an-Nar], the Fire will say: "O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!"" [Reported by at-Tirmidhi, and it is authentic]

7 - "Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and the believing women, Allah writes for him - for every believing man and woman - a good deed." [Reported by at-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, and Ahmad, and it is authentic]

8 - ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud said: "Whoever reads 'al-Mulk' (chapter 67 of the Qur'an) every night, Allah will protect him from the torment of the grave. At the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), we used to call it al-mani’ah (that which protects). In the Book of Allah, it is a chapter which - whoever recites it every night - has done very well." ['Sahih at-Targhib wat-Tarhib' #1475]

9 - “Whoever asks Allah sincerely for martyrdom [Allahumma inni as'aluk ash-shahadah], Allah will cause him to reach the status of the martyrs even if he dies in his bed.” ['Sahih al-Bukhari' #1909]

10 - "No one witnesses that there is none worthy of worship but Allah and that I am Allah's Messenger - truthfully, from his heart - except that Allah makes the Fire of Hell forbidden to touch him." [Reported by Muslim, Ahmad, and al-Bayhaqi]

JAzakum Allahu khairan.

on number 4.. I am aware that Sheikh Albani ra7imahu Allah corrected this hadeeth.. But..

Imam Bukhari said it is hadeeth "Munkar" it is fabricated and even for those whom use weak hadeeth in fada2il al 2a3mal (virtue of deeds)wont be suffce for them as its even lesser than "very weak".

Maryam, if they're in the books of Muslim/Tirmidhi, then it is quoted beside it. And 'al-Jami' as-Sahih', [The authentic collection], is Imam Bukharis book. Wa Allahu aalam.

theantidote: Wa iyyaki, lol I havent actually posted much there, I should though insha'allah.

Mass, haha, on blogger? No it came through. desert princess? :p

al jami3 asaheeh is Sheikh Albani's tasheeh..I think

al saheeh al jami3, then there are many of it I think..again

apparently all the sisters like to be desert princesses.

MASS said...

asaheeh al jami3 is probably not Imam Bukhari's as people ususally say saheeh bukhari..

MASS said...

i mean for hadeeth number 4, since he called it munkar, and i dont think he has anything munkar in his saheeh.. it is probably al jami3 asaheeh of Sheikh Albani.
which frankly has a lot of weak ahadeeth if not most of it is.

Okay, I'm confused now. I thought it was Imam Bukharis sahih jami, because its also known as that. But then I looked it up and they do have quite a few, there is even one al-jami as sahih by at-tirmidhi, i think its another name for their ahadith collection, but you're right it must be Shaykh Albanis. I got this article from here, 'http://www.kalamullah.com/misc.html

Again, barakallah feek, i should really look up stuff before posting it. Incase I give people the wrong information and get accounted for it later on. :(

Asaalmu Alaykum,
thanks sis for the beautiful reminder,I just have a comment to make on MAss's statement, didn't anyone notice it?? he said

MASS-it is probably al jami3 asaheeh of Sheikh Albani.which frankly has a lot of weak ahadeeth if not most of it is.

obviously its Al Albani's but why did he say it has lot of weak ahadeeth and then add "most of it"
thats a VERY DANGEROUS CLAIM we are talkin about the muhaddith of the era, i dare u to support your claim with the statement of one known scholar or is that a personal ijthihad??

Take heed, we are talkin about a scholar of hadith!!

Wa Alaykumsalam anonymous,

Thank-you. :)

I'll wait for Mass to reply to this claim insha'alla. I'm sure he does respect Shaykh Albani [rahimullah] though.

Wa Allahu aalam. Mass?

Ok, Let me clear some things first...

I deeply respect sheikh Albani, and my words cannot describe the amount of efforts and blessings in them to fight innovation in Islam and respect the Sunnah, I personally prefer though Sheikh Ibn uthaymeen over Sheikhs bin baz and Sheikh Albani for their approaches in Fiqh..

Sheikh Ibn uthaymeen is a more consistant Hanbali, the other sheikh may Allah have mercy on them all, mix and match much more in fiqh including in usool.

as for Sheikh Albani's way of correcting hadith then I am more old skool if i may say. and i take way of the mutaqadimeen over muta'akhireen.

Sheikh Albani says a hadeeth is saheeh and IMAM BUKHARI says its munkar.. we got a serious contradiction here..

of course i would take the ijtihad of imam bukhari assuming i do not know a single thing about that hadeeth, nor that my knowledge in hadeeth is hardly anything and perhaps a salt grain in a ocean.

however sheikh Akbani ra7imahu Allah has many ahadeeth to be claimed saheeh like that.. and to tell me that for 1400 years the greates muhaditheen of the ummah have missed some saheeh hadeeth that sheikh Albani have managed to fetch is really far fetched..

personally if it says corrected by al Albani.. i dont take it. (unless of course it has been corrected by a muhadith way before, which in that case you dont need to say "corrected by Al-Albani)

you can retrun to writings of Sheikh Muhamad Amr Abdullatif, whom recently passed away, may Allah have mercy on him, whom was praised by Sheikh Albani in hadeeth at a young age..

you can also refer to Sheikh Abudl Karim al khudayr of riyad..
of course on maters of hadeeth.

if you are reaaallly interesed then the classification of hadeeth bumber 4 by Imam Bukhari and Sheikh Albani should be suffice to spark that interest.

sorry for such a long comment
and may Allah bless you.
