Assalāmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullāhi Wabarakath,

With the recent visit of the Iranian President to the United States, my respect for the man has grown. Religious differences aside, I have to say, looking at his stance against the United States and his speeches, he has a lot of courage. He is right now, one of the few leaders who is adamantly standing up against the United States, unlike our current Muslim/Arab leaders who are allies of the West and their so-called 'War On Terror' and/or are too scared to stand up for what they believe in.

He was was invited to the Columbia University when he was on his visit and I'll say this in the most kindest terms, Lee Bollinger was an utter and complete fool for having treated the President the way he did. Although Ahmadinejad aptly put him in his place later on. There is something called 'Manners' and 'Respect' which was absent from the way he spoke and what he accused the President off. The bias involved was apparent, I wonder what happened to being objective and open-minded, something the U.S prides itself in and claims to teach in its Universities.

[The Videos are available on YouTube].

Secondly, some of the questions asked by the Students reek of ignorance. They're watching Faux news too much and need to go through other resources to get their news. I don't understand how they can accuse Ahmadinejad of being a terrorist, of supporting terrorists and being oppressive when they themselves, their Country is more applicable to being called a terrorist.

President Bush has the blood of thousands of Iraqis, [Estimate go as high as 600,000], and Afghanis on his hands. Not to mention he supports the terrorist state of Israel. There have been rape cases where American Soldiers have committed unthinkable atrocities and the Students have the audacity to call him a terrorist. Someone needs to remind them of how Fallujah was bombed to pieces with napalm bombs, [Bombs which were used in Japan - they burn your skin off you] the case of 14 Year-Old Abeer Qassim Hamza who was raped and all the other massacres that are occurring and have occurred in Iraq and Afghanistan. Someone needs to tell them that now, Iraqi Women are being sold and forced into prostitution, that there is a lack of electricity in Iraq and no Water. Because of their government. Yes, their beloved United States.

When they themselves have Nuclear Power and weaponry, I don't understand how they can ask another Country not to make the same thing. In fact, they have even used them in the past. Everyone remembers the atrocities committed against Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the Second World War. The United States needs to clean up it's own act, before accusing others of 'terrorism'.

I hope the United States and President Bush are not stupid and deranged enough to attack Iran, but looking at the current situation of absolute madness, I will not be surprised.

May Allah subhanna wa ta'ala unite the Muslim Ummah and remove our enemies from Muslim Lands.

May Allah subhanna wa ta'ala give victory to this Ummah.

Ameen.

Ameen to the duas!

I agree about what you said regarding Ahmedijinad. I like his comparison with the deconstruction of Israel with the collapse of the Soviet Union.

He's a stinking rafida shee-ite...How is he the man. Cursing the sahabas and calling the mother of the believers a whore...As shaykhul islam said the leaders of the rafida are kufaar.

This guy commenting on Shee-ite needs an update seriously. What world is he living. We have many common points with the Sheeites. The world powers are against Islam. The Best way to help our enemies is to fight amongst ourselves and they keep on expoiting us. Who are the Palestinian. Why dont we dont unite to help the Palestinian.
Best of Luck. Please upgrade or go for a complete format.

Ahlus-sunnah has nothing in common with the iranian rafida shee'ite....were muslims and they arent. They worship graves, they curse the sahabas, they kill ahlus sunnah, they practice muta....as for the palestinians they arent fighting for islam they're fighting for the their land and which is nationalistic....Which has no place in islam!!!!!!!!!!!That's why theres no success it has to be feesabeelee'laah...

Listen man, these sectarian slogans won't do except harm to the islamic nation. Plus it won't do you good infront of our Prophet peace be upon him because you were a cause of conflict in his nation unlike the fewer brothers and sisters(of various sects) who work for the unity of the muslim nation and hence stronger overall islamic world. But these very pious people are very very rare and never they claim a position in the society they don't deserve. They are humble and caring and probably unknown but they who will be the source of future victory with our ultimate rescueuer piece be upon him who will bring this dark world into light.

God bless wassalam alaikum

Assalam Alaykum,

I guess I'll have to interrupt before an argument erupts on my blog. :)

I can understand where you are coming from anonymous. However, if you notice i've put in my post, 'All religious differences aside'. The fact that I praised Mahmoud Ahmadinejad doesn't mean that I support Shiasm. Their belief and aqeedah is totally different from ours, I accept that. However, I'm praising him for standing up against the Kuffaar and the enemies of Islam, in times when our own leaders are not doing it.

Secondly, another example would be George Galloway. Muslims worldwide support him, but do majority of us spout hatred against him and him being a Christian? No.

Allahu A3lam.

Also, I know that the Palestinian conflict is a complex one. Half of them fight for the sake of nationalism, but yes among them are also the true Mujahideen who fight for a just cause and for the sake of Allah. So putting them all into one category is also not right.

And it is also the duty of all Muslims worldwide to defend pPlestine and Masjid Al-Aqsa because that is one of the holy lands and it is given great importance in Islam.

Ma'asalama
