Assalāmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullāhi Wabarakath,

I'm back from my month long vacation. I arrived safely a couple of days ago, Alhamdulilah.

For some reason I've lost the inclination to blog. I started two blog posts and I didn't complete any of them. Either I'm not inspired enough, or my brain is refusing to work. [Or simply put - I'm just being lazy]. Anyway, it is one of those three reasons. It definitely isn't Writer's block. When I go through Writer's block, I don't even bother signing into my blogger account after the first try. I have been wanting to blog about a couple of things, but frustratingly enough, I just can't get myself to write.

But just because I haven't been blogging, doesn't mean that I don't browse my other internet spots. I found this interesting video on Youtube.com which I wanted to share. Now I know in the past I've criticised the Saudi society [among other Muslim Societies] for the negative things which happen there, but it should be noted that even though these societies might have their bad side, they also have a good side.

Don't get me wrong, just because I criticize Muslim societies doesn't mean that I would like to live somewhere else. I prefer living in a Muslim Country, especially compared to a Non-Muslim Country and Alhamdulilah it is not as if there are not any good Muslims left in Muslim Countries or that Islam has left the hearts of People, but as a concerned Muslim Woman I do reprehend some of the things which happen in these societies that goes against what Islam teaches us.

The Video shows a glimpse into the lives of two Saudi Women. The reasons I found it interesting was because firstly, it delves into the lives of Saudi Women who are thought to be oppressed and uneducated by a lot of people around the World. Secondly, it dispels a lot of misconceptions about Muslim Women who wear the Niqaab [Face-Veil].
