Assalāmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullāhi Wabarakath,

I shall be taking a little break from the Internet world Inshallah. If everything goes as planned I will be traveling tomorrow morning. This may sound silly to some, but I really enjoy traveling from one destination to another. It's the not the place I'm reaching that I get excited about, but the airport experience. I've always found it exhilarating. As a child, there was a time when I could not sleep at night if we had a morning flight due to my excitement.

Of course, I am past that stage now, but I've always viewed traveling and boarding a plane as an adventure. However due to some unpredicted circumstances and of the current situation I am in I have no choice but to travel alone. Never having done that before, naturally I'm a bit apprehensive and nervous but excited all the same. Inshallah I shall reach my destination in one piece without experiencing any unpleasant surprises on the way. My Mom, being a Mother, is more nervous about me traveling alone then I am.

I am however worried about leaving my Cat behind, even for a few days. I know they can adjust, but
boo [my niece likes to call him that] is very attached to me. I don't know how he'll react to me not being there for him.

The past few weeks have been hectic and I do acknowledge that I haven't givem my blog the same time I would give it before. A plethora of things have been going on and I haven't had the time to sit down and write. That is why I haven't written something productive in quite sometime. Maybe subconsciously, I was avoiding writing because I didn't feel like it.

I was working on a post titled,
"Criticism of Muslim Countries'' but sadly enough I haven't finished it and will not be posting it. The post would have been a critical analysis of Muslim Countries, our downfall in the current day and age, some of the reasons behind it and problems facing us and our Ummah in general. I plan to finish it, and then Inshallah I'll post it when i return. I plan to come back on July 30th.

If anyone is interested, I was listening to Imam Anwar Al Awlakis lectures on Jihad called
Mashari Al-Ashwaqila Masari Al-Ushaaq. [It's in English] But because of my busy schedule I haven't been able to finish listening to them, however from what I've heard so far, they are excellent and I would recommend them to anyone who is even mildly interested in the subject.

Maybe this little hiatus is good for me because I also need to fix my sleeping pattern. I have developed an undesirable pattern of sleeping very late and I have a hard time waking up. Therefore I haven't been getting enough sleep.

Before I leave I'd like to comment on one of the latest happenings in Britain concerning the airport attacks. What I found interesting was that Mr Brown was quick on blaming it on Al-Qaeda. No evidence, no proof and the instant blame was on Al-Qaeda and Islamic 'extremists'. Sadly enough, I was not surprised. This is but a repetition of what happens in the West, everything gets blamed on the Muslims. Secondly, almost instantly Men and Women were arrested, who of course are Muslims. If people were arrested so quickly and Al-Qaeda was blamed instantly then it seem as if they already had knowledge about what was to happen. Again, I was not surprised. I could be wrong, but looking at the past events that we have experienced, I would not be surprised if this was a setup. Bush needs renewed public support for the War on Terror and what better way then 'uniting with the U.K against terror' and scaring the ignorant public. Allahu a3lam. Things are going to get a lot harder for the Muslims in the U.K. May Allah subhanna wa ta'ala make things easy for them. Ameen.

Before Muslims are quick to blame other Muslims concerning this and other events, I would advise them to take a look at this verse in the Qur'an.

O you who believe! If a Fasiq (liar — evil person) comes to you with any news, verify it, lest you should harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful for what you have done. (6) Al Hujurat

These days some Muslims have the tendency to follow the Kuffar blindly and not verify things about their Brothers' and Sisters' Islam. I'd advise people to wait for sufficient proof and evidence before condemning anybody.

Please keep me in your duas.

May Allah subhanna wa ta'ala forgive us and grant us mercy.
May Allah subhanna wa ta'ala allow all of to enter Jannah.
May Allah subhanna wa ta'ala give the Mujahideen victory and give ease and sabr to the Muslim Prisoners who are oppressed.

Ameen

Ma'asalama

Sure, and it wasn't muslims who killed 7 spaniards in Yemen. Nothing to do with Al Qaeda or muslims, of course...
