Assalāmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullāhi Wabarakath,

One of the things that really benefited me after i started 'practicing' a couple of years back was patience and faith in Allah subhanna wa ta'ala. Islam teaches us to be patient and to have tawakkul in Allah subhanna wa ta'ala. There were times before when I would get worked up about things if they didn't go my way or something that i didn't want happened but now alhamdulilah I am able to have a lot of sabr.

I've felt the change in myself and it's a beautiful experience. You know that if something happens you dislike or like - it is qadar and the will of Allah subhanna wa ta'ala and only he can change it. I still get sad or depressed if things do not go as planned [It's human nature] but not to the extent that i normally would. Maybe there is some good in it that I may not know but Allah azza wa jal knows. I would instantly remind myself that there are other people who go through much more difficulties then i do and to be grateful because no matter how grateful we are it will be never enough.

I know people who would have anger problems before, but after they started practicing and getting into the deen their anger mellows down and they learn patience and they become different people. The transformation is amazing to see.

“Surely, Allaah is with those who are As‑Saabiroon (the patient)”

[al-Anfaal 6:46]

“And verily, whosoever shows patience and forgives, that would truly be from the things recommended by Allaah”

[al-Shoora 42:34]

And when someone puts all his trust in Allah, He will be enough for him. (65:3)

And Muslim (2999) narrated that Suhayb (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for his affairs are all good, and this applies to no one but the believer. If something good happens to him, he is thankful for it and that is good for him. If something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience and that is good for him.”

Islam benefits us in so many ways and we do not even realise it.

May Allah subhanna wa ta'ala give all of us patience. Ameen.

Alhamdulilah 'ala qulli haal.

Over 700,000 Turkish people yesterday protested against Islam. They said they wanted a secular society (no Islamic religion forced down their throats), and they said they are determined to ensure that the Turkish nation remains secular and that Islam does not influence the government and the people. Turkish people are rebelling against Islam and soon they will throw Islam out, they will evict the old "book" and "prophet" from their Great Country. The Turkish nation has a great history before the Arabs came in and forced their nationalistic doctrine on them. Let all the millions of Turks go back to their original state, before islamic invaders came and fed them islam.

Jazakallah khair for all the comments.

candle of hope: Thank you so much for letting me know. I was in Tuwar just a couple of days back. Jazakallah khair. However i dont know if i'll be able to make it - i've come down with a lot of things and i'm basically stuck at home working. Who is the lecture by?

muwahidah: Defenitely.

imaginate: jazakallah khair.

Anonymous: I'm assuming your the same person who wrote a comment on my post 'Muslim Prisoners'. If you are, i've written a response please look at it.

It does't matter what the people want or think. Gods truth shall prevail on Earth. How do you know these people won't turn around and one day turn back to Islam? Your dislike for Islam is evident in your posts.

anonymous number 2: wa alaykumsalam, no problem. May Allah subhanna wa ta'ala easen your burdens and give you help in whatever you need it in. Ameen. Insha'állah what ever it is, i hope it turns out for the best for you and is solved. Have tawakkul in Allah subhanna wa tá'ala. I am happy that i have been able to be of some help. :)
