Assalam Alaykum,

It's been ages since i've posted one of my long posts. So i guess it's about time i stopped being lazy and got back to blogging.

With the recent events that have been happening around the World, (The death of Zarqawi, the suspected Canadian Bombers, the mistreatment of Muslims in U.K and the Suicide of the three detainees in Guantanamo) and how people react to them i feel that i need to comment on them.

First of all: Innil Lilahi wa inna ilahi rajioun. For all my brothers and sisters suffering out there, May Allah s.w.t grant you sabr and strength. Ameen.

There have been mixed feelings about the death of Zarqawi, even from among the Muslim Ummah itself. Some people still curse him while others feel a great loss because of his death. Maybe some of these people have been personally affected by him, Allahu Aa'lam. I'd like to say that, he's gone now and it won't do good for people to curse him or talk bad about him because it won't matter. It's that simple. He's with Allah s.w.t now, and only Allah s.w.t has the right to judge him. Secondly, no matter what, he was our Brother in Islam and it is our duty as Muslims to wish well for our Brothers and Sisters in Islam and to ask for guidance for them. Also, do we really know who he was? All we've seen of him is what either the Media gives us, stories from the Press controlled by U.S and a few videos which were released.

If he's done good, Allah s.w.t know, and if he's done bad, Allah s.w.t know. It is not upto us to judge him until we have clear proof. We should always keep in mind that whatever we say is recorded.

"Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it)." (Surah Qaf, Ayah 18)

Abû Hurayrah relates that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak a good word or remain silent. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his neighbor. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his guest.” (Bukhari and muslim)

Same goes for the Suspected Canadian Bombers. They'r not even sure yet if they'r guilty. What happened to not guilty until proven?

As for the latest story of the Guantanamo bay detainees doing suicide, i truly feel sad for them. What happens in Guantanamo is inhumane. People are tortured and kept without reason. They arn't even given a trial. Even though suicide in Islam is considered Haram, who knows what these three men suffered to give up on life? And what's more laughable is the excuse the U.S comes up with. They consider this as a 'war crime against them'. Subhanallah.... what a stupid excuse. They make my blood boil. You can read more about it here---> http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/5068606.stm

May Allah s.w.t punish the Kuffar who torture innocent Muslims. Ameen.

May Allah s.w.t strengthen the Muslim Ummah, make our Imaan stronger, unite us in these times of difficulties and forgive us our Sins. May we all walk on the Siraat with speed. Ameen.

Asalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa barakaatuh,
Heyy didnt know u had a Blogspot!
and yea i agree that its one of the few blogspots that actually make sense..
Anyhow..nice post ..Just wanted to say that its hard 2 blv that the two 500 pound bombs that tore down the house, killed and torn to pisces zarqawi's spiritual leader, his wife( according to media) and a child still somehow spared zarqawi and left him with no more than a scrated face ..lol c'mon they can do better than that ..
Jordan refused to bury him in their ground so the US will bury him and no one will know the truth of HOW or WHO was reallly killed ..

Jazakillahu Khairan ukhtii great blog..

"Regarding the brothers at gitmo, do not beleive the words of the kuffar. These brothers were not stupid, they knew that suicide is haraam. Allah knows best what REALLY happened "

me and my brothers were also discussing it...considerng they were 'put in Gitmo coz they were a threat to kill masses of others'..why would they then kill themselves?..thats a proof hat they are innocent even if they did, which i agree with Outlaw, is clearly hard to believe at all.

on al'jazeera a few days back they made an interview with the father of one of the gitmo prisoners that had "comitted suicide"...He said that his son was a hafiz of the quran, he literally obeys the quran al-kareem and is well known to all of His law's and judgements in all issues, and he certainly knows that commiting suicide is haram, however martyrdom operations is a whole different matter, in this case; it is most probably murder by the torturers. and Only Allah knows Best.

Assalam Alaykum,

mbslrm yes truely, we should always pray to Allah s.w.t in these times. Our ummah is being torn apart. Innil Lilahi wa inna ilahi rajioun.

cricketgal and al-hajeji Yes, surprisingly this is what we were discussing with my dad as well. It's probably some other story, and they've show it as suicide because they know that it's haram in Islam. :-/

May Allah s.w.t grant our Ummah strenght and make strong our Imaan. Ameen.
